Organisational Context
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is an international financial institution and a specialized United Nations agency dedicated to eradicating rural poverty and hunger. It does so by investing in rural people. IFAD finances programmes and projects that increase agricultural productivity and raise rural incomes, and advocates at the local, national and international level for policies that contribute to rural transformation.
Duties and responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Country Director and in close cooperation with the Mekong Multi-country team, the incumbent will perform the following tasks for management support:
- Arranging meetings/events including virtual meetings, workshops with internal and external project/programme stakeholders, including preparation and dissemination of relevant documentation;
- Uploading and profiling required documents for records management and knowledge management purposes and sharing of information with project partners.
- Arranging missions and providing advice on travel itineraries, visa information and related travel matters;
- Providing information and advice on non-staff related matters and confirmation of deliverables quality for payment.
- Formatting/editing documents and maintaining records;
- Providing translation to the working documents as required;
- Obtaining and advising security related information.
