Gravity Water is a nonprofit organization with a mission of turning rain into safe water for communities in need across Vietnam, Nepal, Malaysia, and Indonesia through innovative rainwater harvesting systems.
As we enter an exciting period of organizational growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team and help strengthen the financial systems that support our expanding impact. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional team members to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and administrative coordination that advances our mission.
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing Gravity Water’s financial systems, combining transactional bookkeeping with strategic financial management. This role supports accurate financial tracking while collaborating with the Executive Director and Assistant Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The Finance Manager plays a key role in ensuring financial transparency, supporting organizational decision-making, and assisting responsible financial management across international programs.
Core Responsibilities
Essential job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:
- Financial Reporting: Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial reports for global and national programs.
- Accounting: Assist national and global leadership in accurate bookkeeping and reconciliation.
- Financial Organization: Maintaining clear and structured organization of financial documents, including invoices, payment receipts, and donation receipts.
- Financial Planning: Assist leadership in developing quarterly, annual, and multi-year financial plans, as needed.
Position Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for supporting communities in accessing safe and reliable water
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field -or- 10+ years in financial management.
- Fluency in English
- Strong experience in spreadsheet management (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Strong organizational and time management skills (Google Drive, communications, etc.)
