THE OPPORTUNITY

The Finance & Operations Officer supports the effective financial and operational management of The Fred Hollows Foundation’s Vietnam program. Based in Da Nang, the role works closely with finance, operations and program teams to deliver strong financial administration, procurement and office operations while ensuring compliance with Foundation policies, donor requirements and local regulations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Finance

Support financial administration activities including payment processing, budgeting, forecasting, financial monitoring, partner financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records. Assist with compliance requirements and internal and external audits in line with Foundation policies, donor requirements and local regulations.

 

Procurement

Support procurement activities and coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure purchasing processes are completed efficiently and in accordance with Foundation policies.

 

Operations

Provide administrative and operational support to the country office, including contract administration, asset management, travel and logistics coordination, records management, and the organisation of meetings, workshops and events.

 

Collaboration and Support

Work closely with country, regional and global teams to support business operations and program delivery and contribute to other organisational priorities as required.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

At least five years’ experience in finance, administration or operations, with experience supporting donor-funded programs or projects.

  • Good understanding of accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Experience supporting grants, donor reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners and suppliers in a multicultural environment.
