National Intern – ESP/H2Uppp

The GIZ Energy Support Programme is working with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) on the development of the energy sector in Viet Nam. The current technological focus is on renewable energy, energy efficiency and just energy transition.

 

Within the framework of the GIZ Energy Support Programme (GIZ ESP), the project “Implementation of the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Program” (H2Uppp) in Viet Nam, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) promotes green hydrogen (GH2) and Power-to-X (PtX) projects in Viet Nam through public-private partnerships with industry (PPP). 

 

The project is offering the internship opportunity as below:

 

National Intern

Office location: Hanoi, Viet Nam

Duration: 6 months, starting as soon as possible

 

During the internship, the interns will learn and practice in the following areas:

  • General administrative and technical support for the project activity implementation (communication with stakeholders, background research, reporting and other);
  • Preparation of workshops, training and other events;
  • Project impact-orientated monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance in technical activities and deliverables;
  • Logistical arrangements for organization of events, workshops, field trips;
  • PR and communication related activities;
  • Knowledge management, digitalization practices;
  • Internal meetings and discussions (e.g.; protocol preparation, minute meeting notes, etc.);
  • Translation and/or interpretation of project documents (English and Vietnamese).

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vietnamese citizen, who are in the last year of their study or newly graduated students within 6 months upon commencement of the internship.
  • Have interest in the energy sector, in particular renewable energy and/or in development cooperation. Have good understanding on renewable energy is an asset;
  • Having background in communications, public relations, marketing or similar
  • Strong MS Office, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Basic design skills are an asset (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva…)
  • Thinking creatively
  • Being a good team player
  • Highly motivated to learn in a young, diverse and dynamic team working with the aim to develop the power sector in Viet Nam;
