On the occasion of the launch of Phase 2 of the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific, AVPN is pleased to announce that an Open Call for Expression of Interest has been published to identify Local Training Providers (LTPs) who can deliver basic AI literacy and skilling programmes to workers in Vietnam.
This initiative is supported by Google.org and ADB and builds on the success of Phase 1. The goal of the fund is to promote inclusive digital transformation and workforce resilience by empowering workers and jobseekers with foundational AI knowledge.
The Open Call will proceed in two stages:
- Stage 1: Expression of Interest (EOI) – now open
- Stage 2: Full Application – by invitation only
The deadline for submission of EOIs is 2 July 2025 at 23:59 Singapore time (GMT+8).

An online information session will be held on:
- 10 June 2025 at 15:00 Singapore time
- 19 June 2025 at 11:00 Singapore time
These sessions will provide an overview of the fund and application process. Interested applicants may register via the website above.
Please note that no grants will be awarded at the EOI stage. Only shortlisted organisations will be invited to submit a full proposal for grant consideration.
