World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization working to improve the quality of life of people, especially children, who are marginalized and living in poverty.  World Vision helps all who are in need regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

 

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) is implementing the Blue Corridor Project, which aims to establish an interconnected sub-regional network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and Other Effective area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) along the coast of Quang Tri Province and Da Nang City.

 

The project responds to the rapid degradation of marine biodiversity, declining fisheries resources, and increasing vulnerability of coastal communities whose livelihoods heavily depend on marine ecosystems. Climate change, over-exploitation of marine resources, habitat degradation, and weak market systems have further reduced livelihood resilience among vulnerable households.
