Oxfam in Vietnam is currently seeking a qualified (team of) consultants/consulting firm to carry out an assessment of low-emission rice farming practices and technical transfer capacity in the Mekong Delta, under the project “Greening Our Rice: Gender-Just, Low-Carbon Rice Value Chains in Vietnam (GoRice)”.

The objective of this consultancy package is to provide comprehensive evidence and analysis on the level of adoption of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), to identify appropriate models and needs for strengthening technical extension capacity in order to promote sustainable, low-emission, and climate-resilient rice production in the project areas.
The consultancy aims to achieve the following specific objectives:
- Assess the current status of CSA adoption in rice production
- Evaluate the drivers, barriers, and economic, social, and environmental impacts related to CSA
- Assess the current capacity of the local agricultural extension system and identify capacity-building needs, including knowledge and skills in transferring CSA-based rice farming techniques and emission reduction practices among local extension workers
The assignment will be conducted in An Giang, Can Tho, and Vinh Long provinces.

Oxfam tại Việt Nam hiện đang tìm kiếm (nhóm) chuyên gia tư vấn/công ty tư vấn có năng lực để thực hiện đánh giá thực hành canh tác lúa phát thải thấp và năng lực chuyển giao kỹ thuật tại Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long trong khuôn khổ dự án “Greening Our Rice: Gender-Just, Low-Carbon Rice Value Chains in Vietnam (GoRice)”.
Mục đích của gói tư vấn là cung cấp bằng chứng và phân tích toàn diện về mức độ áp dụng CSA, đồng thời xem xét các khía cạnh kinh tế, xã hội, môi trường và giới, qua đó xác định các mô hình phù hợp và nhu cầu nâng cao năng lực nhằm thúc đẩy sản xuất lúa bền vững, phát thải thấp và thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu tại các địa bàn dự án.
Gói tư vấn hướng tới các mục tiêu cụ thể sau:
- Đánh giá hiện trạng áp dụng CSA trong sản xuất lúa
- Đánh giá các yếu tố thúc đẩy, rào cản, hiệu quả kinh tế, xã hội và môi trường liên qua đến CSA.
- Đánh giá hiện trạng năng lực hệ thống khuyến nông cơ sở và nhu cầu nâng cao năng lực công tác khuyến nông cơ sở bao gồm kiến thức và kỹ năngchuyển giao kỹ thuật canh tác lúa CSA, giảm phát thải của người làm công tác khuyến nông tại địa phương
