 Impact Investment Coordinator | Tourism for Ethnic Minority Women

Clickable Impact is seeking an Impact Investment Analyst & Outreach Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist women-owned tourism businesses in Lao Cai and Son La Provinces in securing investment capital, as well as other businesses that benefit ethnic minority women.

Tasks will include mapping the investor landscape, developing pitch decks and other collateral, coordinating investor outreach, facilitating investor roadshows, and shepherding investment transactions to completion.

We are seeking candidates with 3-10 years of impact investment experience.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Impact Investment Coordinator will work on the Tourism for Ethnic Minority Women (T4EMW) project team. Clickable Impact is the lead implementation partner for this component of the Aus4Equality GREAT 2 Project.

T4EMW leverages tourism as a catalyst to empower ethnic minority women through income generation, skill development, and socio-economic advancement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Mapping and Analysis

• Perform an in-depth analysis of potential investors across the capital spectrum – including both philanthropic and risk capital – interested in sustainable tourism.

2. Investment Pipeline Development

• Compile responsible investment guidelines for the project.
• Document a pipeline of investment opportunities that deliver financial returns alongside measurable benefits for ethnic minority women.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

• Engage with stakeholders, including investors, philanthropists, NGOs, and government bodies, to foster partnerships and attract investment capital for T4EMW projects.
• Coordinate investor roadshows.
• Support the Senior Advisor in presenting investment opportunities in meetings and investment forums.

4. Transaction Advisory

• Facilitate responses to investors’ information requests.
• Encourage and facilitate co-investment partnerships and blended finance transactions.

5. Knowledge Sharing and Reporting

• Develop and maintain a pipeline report of potential investments.
• Contribute to reports and presentations, highlighting key achievements and recommendations.
• Develop lessons learned and best practices in attracting investment for sustainable tourism initiatives.

The Impact Investment Coordinator will report jointly to the Project Manager and Senior Investment Advisor. (S)he will work closely with teammates including a Project Coordinator, Private Sector Planning & Coordination Specialist, Community Planning & Coordination Specialist, two provincial support officers, a Senior Technical Advisor, and a Senior Private Sector Advisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Impact investment experience with a focus on origination and investment readiness.
• Understanding of the impact investment capital spectrum, including philanthropic, concessional, and risk capital sources.
• Ability to conduct basic investment analysis, including risk modelling and calculating internal rates of return.
• Superior organization and project management skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with tourism and the socio-economic development context of ethnic minority areas in the northwest of Vietnam.

Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, with travel to project sites.

Contract Type: 20-month project-based consultancy.
