Local Network Coordinator
The Role
We are looking for an energetic and well-connected network Coordinator to serve as coordinator of our organic activities and our EU Organic Promotion project in Vietnam. You will be the engine behind our stakeholder engagement strategy. The role combines relationship-building, knowledge dissemination, event program design, and project coordination — all in service of mainstreaming organic in Vietnam.
Place & Duration
Full-time Position in Vietnam with work location in Ho Chi Minh City for the project duration from 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2029
Key Responsibilities:
Network Building & Stakeholder Engagement
- Map, identify, and engage key stakeholders across the Vietnamese organic food ecosystem
- Cultivate long-term relationships with value chain actors and networks relevant to the project
- Facilitate connections and collaboration between Naturland partners, project stakeholders, and Vietnamese food actors
- Represent Naturland at events, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings
- Identify and develop new partnerships beyond the immediate project scope
- Coordinate Naturland´s engagement with organic stakeholders and key projects in Vietnam
Event Programme Design & Content Development
- Design agendas for workshops, roundtables, networking events
- Coordinate with implementing partners and agencies on event execution, providing clear programme briefs and content guidelines
- Moderate or facilitate panel discussions and sessions, ensuring events deliver tangible value and drive meaningful dialogue
- Develop targeted organic educational programmes for value chain actors
- Create accessible educational materials tailored to different audiences
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate project activities with the Naturland Vietnam team, implementing body in Vietnam and Naturland HQ in Germany
- Monitor project progress and ensure all deliverables meet standards and timelines
- Prepare regular progress reports for Naturland headquarters and project stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring activities, promotions, and campaign implementation across Vietnam
Your Profile
Education & Experience
- University degree in Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or value chain coordination
- Experience working with food sector or agricultural organisations in a coordination or management capacity
- Proven track record in partnership development and stakeholder management
- Experience in training programme design and implementation
- Background in agricultural development or the organic farming sector is a strong plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of organic agriculture; knowledge of EU organic standards is a distinct advantage
- Ability to design engaging event agendas and substantive programme content for professional audiences
- Strong skills in translating complex topics (e.g. certification standards, market requirements) into accessible educational content for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Vietnamese (native) and English (fluent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Structured, target-oriented, and proactive working manner with excellent time management
- Strong interpersonal skills; confident networker who can engage senior stakeholders
Other Requirements
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Ho Chi Minh City
- Willingness to travel throughout Vietnam
- Passion for organic agriculture and sustainable food systems
- Existing network among agriculture stakeholders or food industry professionals is a plus

The aim of the project is to raise awareness and trust amongst local consumers of the high quality of EU organic products, produced in compliance with the high standards of the EU and Naturland. In this way, the craze of the huge Vietnamese market for organic and healthy products embodies an important opportunity for EU organic products which must be taken.
