VNAH call for Consultants: Multidisciplinary Technical Support Team for Rehabilitation Services (MDT)
Viet-Nam Assistance for the Handicapped (VNAH) (www.vnah-hev.org), a U.S.-based non-governmental organization, is currently implementing the “Inclusion III-b” project in Đồng Nai Province, funded by the U.S. Government.
Within this project, VNAH is seeking a Multidisciplinary Consultant Team to provide technical support and guidance on implementing the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) intervention model at supported hospitals and health centers. Please refer to the attached TOR for more details.
The Consultant Team shall include specialists in:
- Rehabilitation Doctors
- Physical Therapists (PT)
- Occupational Therapists (OT)
- Speech and Language Therapists (SLT)
- Assistive Technology (AT) Specialists
- Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) Specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and develop individual intervention plans for patients and persons with disabilities.
- Provide clinical coaching and standardize professional procedures at the local level.
- Set up and guide the operation of MDT models within hospital settings.
- Organize on-site training for medical staff on assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Provide technical support for Assistive Technology and P&O services.
Requirements:
- Education: University or postgraduate degree in relevant fields (PT, OT, SLT, AT, P&O, or Rehabilitation).
- Experience: 3–5 years of clinical or technical support experience. Experience in MDT models or international development projects is preferred.
- Skills: Strong teamwork, training, and communication skills.
Timeline & Location:
- Duration: From April 15, 2026, to November 31, 2026.
- Location: Healthcare facilities (Hospitals, Health Centers) in Dong Nai province.
