The Country Office provides steering and implementation support for the entire portfolio of GIZ in the country through ensuring framework conditions and standardized processes for an efficient and successful project implementation, as well as ensure compliance with GIZ regulations and local law. Furthermore, the GIZ Country Office maintains strategic relations with national counterparts, the German embassy, other German implementation organisations and international development partners; coordinates within the donor landscape and support positioning of GIZ themes. At the same time, the GIZ Country Office provides internal services for the projects, e.g., finance/admin support, procurement, logistics, Human Resources (HR), digital services and security and risk management to ensure smooth operations of projects.
The GIZ Country Office in Hanoi is offering an internship opportunity at the HR Section with details below.
National Intern
Office location: GIZ Office Hanoi, 49 Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
Duration: 6 months, starting from 10. May 2025
During the internship, the Intern will learn and practice in following areas:
- National employee recruitment: job posting, interview arranging, writing tests conducting, etc.
- HR development measures: training sessions and workshops organizing, training calendar updating, HR development record maintaining.
- HR administration: filing system, translation (English/ Vietnamese).
Requirements:
- Vietnamese citizen, who is currently undertaking or completed the bachelor/postgraduate studies within the last six months (upon commencement of the internship)
- Interest in learning human resources management
- Ability to handle HR confidentiality and data protection appropriately
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- Good interpersonal skills and coordination skills
- Good time management skills and ability to handle multi tasks
- Good computer skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams).
