ROLE DESCRIPTION
Kenan is seeking a senior professional for the position of Project Manager to manage and develop sustainable programs in Vietnam with a focus on STEM/TVET education, MSMEs, and youth leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex government relations while delivering high-impact results for our corporate partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver impact
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of customized projects, ensuring all deliverables align with project objectives and Kenan’s strategic framework.
- Deliver standardized education services in STEM/TVET, including school roll-outs, teacher training, and mentoring programs.
- Manage and engage diverse stakeholders (Government, Corporate, Schools) to ensure effectiveness and impact.
- Lead and mentor the project team by developing and expanding their professional capabilities.
Earn revenue
- Proactively contribute to business development by helping to draft compelling concept notes and proposals to pitch to potential donors.
- Optimize project budgets by balancing resource allocation with high-quality deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to secure long-term project sustainability.
Build brand
- Increase the visibility and goodwill of Kenan in the industry through formal and informal networking.
- Contribute to high-quality content creation for marketing and communication channels (success stories, social media, reports)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Education, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 05 years of direct experience in project management within a non-profit organization or CSR department.
- Proven experience working with Vietnamese Government agencies (Ministries, Local Authorities) and securing necessary operating licenses/approvals.
- Expertise: Strong background in STEM Education, TVET, or SME development. Knowledge of M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) and KPI tracking is essential.
- Skills:
- Ability to design training/workshop agendas and lead material development.
- Exceptional multi-tasking and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong results-focus with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Language: Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal).
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites across Vietnam.
