Digital transformation holds great potential for achieving the 2030 Agenda in terms of environmental and climate goals. It is estimated that digital technologies can help reduce global greenhouse gas production by up to 20%. At the same time, a green digital transformation is needed, as digital technologies also contribute to climate change: currently, over 2% of global CO2 emissions are attributed to digitalization.
