The Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN), an independent research organization established in 2005, is currently seeking Researcher(s) to join their team in Hanoi.
DEPOCEN is renowned for its high-quality, policy-relevant research on a wide range of socio-economic issues in Vietnam. They collaborate closely with international organizations, government agencies, universities, and the private sector. The organization is a co-founder of the Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM) and the Center for Advanced Studies in Economics and Data Science (CASED), among other affiliations.

Job Description:
- Develop proposals for research and consultancy projects;
- Conduct literature review, develop methodology, data collection tools, work plan, budget for running the assigned project;
- Conduct fieldwork (training and supervising enumerators; collecting data);
- Analyze data and produce reports and other outputs;
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, local partners and collaborators (external experts, supervisors and enumerators);
- Other tasks appropriately with expertise requested by higher manager.
Qualifications:
- Master/bachelor degree in Economics, Sociology, Public Health and/or other related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in conducting the research and consultancy projects
- Critical thinking, and excellent writing and analytical skills
- Excellent command in English
- Strong capability to work both independently and in team.
- Willingness to travel to provinces (including remote areas) for fieldwork.
