The Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN), an independent research organization established in 2005, is currently seeking Senior Researcher(s) to join their team in Hanoi.
DEPOCEN is renowned for its high-quality, policy-relevant research on a wide range of socio-economic issues in Vietnam. They collaborate closely with international organizations, government agencies, universities, and the private sector. The organization is a co-founder of the Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM) and the Center for Advanced Studies in Economics and Data Science (CASED), among other affiliations.

Job Description:

Crucially, with your solid expertise, we rely on you to be proficient in statistical models to ensure the certainty and reliability of all research outcomes.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- At least a Master’s Degree in Economics or related fields. A PhD in Economics or related fields, especially foreign degrees, is an advantage.
- Experience in implementing socio-economic research projects. Publications in reputed international scientific journals are an advantage.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and leadership.
- Proficiency in professional statistical software and programming (e.g., R, STATA, MATLAB).
- Excellent command of both English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork.
