Background
FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. Our staff includes experts in health, public health threats, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, research, technology, communication, and social marketing – creating a unique mix of capabilities to address today’s interrelated development challenges. FHI 360 is currently implementing programs to address challenges in HIV prevention, testing, and treatment; Tuberculosis (TB) case finding and treatment; antimicrobial resistance; health system strengthening; maternal and child health and nutrition; and Global Health Security (GHS).
Funded by the U.S. Government, the Strengthening Infectious Disease Detection Systems (STRIDES) Activity advance cross-sectoral efforts to successfully identify, manage, and respond to infectious disease threats; detect and prevent further outbreaks; and instill confidence in the operability of a country’s disease surveillance and detection structures.
FHI 360 is seeking a qualified vendor to provide services for the development and upgrade of the Quang Ninh CDC mobile application, with the objectives and scope of work outlined below.
Objectives
Upgrade and enhance the CDC Quang Ninh mobile application, together with a web-based management platform, to strengthen event-based surveillance (EBS) through the participation of community members, community health collaborators, and health workers at commune/ward health stations. The system shall support the early detection, receipt, and timely processing of community-reported signals, while providing information to support operational oversight and coordinated disease prevention and control responses.
