Main Objective:
To provide expert support to the Center for Energy Information and Electricity Market Development (EAVCED) in the design and implementation of the Viet Nam Energy Information System (VEIS), under the EU – Viet Nam Sustainable Energy Transition Facility. The assignment supports the inception, survey, feasibility study, construction design oversight, and final reporting phases.

Assignment Duration:
16 weeks (January – May 2026), based in Hanoi, Viet Nam.
Summary of Roles:
- Software Expert (Senior – Cat. A, Assignment Leader): Leads the assignment, oversees IT solution design, ensures integration of cybersecurity and data privacy, and manages deliverables.
- Infrastructure/Hardware Expert (Senior – Cat. B): Designs and configures IT hardware, ensures compliance with technical standards, and supports system integration.
- Energy Sector Specialist Expert (Senior – Cat. B): Manages energy data, coordinates with stakeholders, and ensures alignment with sector strategies and standards.
- Financial Specialist Expert (Junior – Cat. C): Conducts financial and budgetary analysis, supports project costing, and ensures compliance with Vietnamese financial regulations.
