Background
FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. Our staff includes experts in health, public health threats, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, research, technology, communication, and social marketing – creating a unique mix of capabilities to address today’s interrelated development challenges. FHI 360 is currently implementing programs to address challenges in HIV prevention, testing, and treatment; Tuberculosis (TB) case finding and treatment; antimicrobial resistance; health system strengthening; maternal and child health and nutrition; and Global Health Security (GHS).
Through the U.S. Government-funded Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) activity, FHI 360 supports the Government of Vietnam to strengthen sustainable financing, procurement, and commodity security to ensure uninterrupted access to essential HIV, TB, and GHS services within Vietnam’s decentralized health system, while advancing government ownership and increasing domestic financing.
FHI 360 is seeking a qualified research institution, consulting firm, or consulting team to conduct a comprehensive analysis and develop a strategic roadmap for sustainable financing of HIV and TB programs in Vietnam through 2030. The selected contractor will assess the current financing landscape, identify financing gaps and transition risks associated with declining external assistance, analyze opportunities to mobilize and optimize domestic resources, and develop evidence-based recommendations to support the Government of Vietnam in sustaining essential HIV and TB prevention, care, treatment, and health system functions
